Kathryn J. Rydze, 72 of Lawrenceville, formerly of Patton, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Patton, PA on September 6, 1950, to the late Thomas and Catherine Wilshire. Kathi is survived by her husband Richard; loving children, Cassy (Will) Thomeier, Tyson (Kara) Rydze, Dustin (Cara) Rydze and Abby Rydze; 7 grandchildren, Bella, Willy, Angela, Connor, Colton, Brycen, and Brynlee; sister Jan (Jim) Kupchella; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister Pollyanna (Robert) Peppeti.
Anyone who was blessed to have known Kathi was charmed by her resilience and generous heart…and probably got a chance to enjoy some of her delicious baked treats. At Kathryn’s request, there will be no formal memorial service and her family will spend time sharing stories and fond memories.
