Lillian Mary (Mokry) Weimer

Lillian Mary (Mokry) Weimer, 91, of Washington, PA, died Thursday, April 7th in Washington Hospital.

She was born on June 10, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Ignatz and Mary Mokry.

Lillian was a graduate of Arenas Eastern in Turner, Michigan.  She then graduated from St. Anthony De Paul Nursing School as an RN in 1949 where she met and married Dr. Joseph Weimer.  They moved to Pittsburgh, PA then Waycross Farm in Washington, PA where they resided for 51 years.

In addition to being a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Lillian bred and raised thorough bred race horses. Many of which did well at the racetracks.  She loved all animals and had a heart of gold.

Surviving is her beloved daughter and caregiver for the last 2 years, Karen Weimer (Louis Lalama) of Coraopolis, PA; daughter in law Barbara Weimer and two grandchildren, Geoffrey and Lauren of Harrisburg, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Weimer and sons, Robert and Paul Weimer.

Interment will be private.
