Maria Rose Amuso

Maria Rose Amuso, age 56, passed away at her home May 9th, 2022. Maria was born October 6, 1965 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late John and Hildegard Amuso. Surviving are a sister Janet Amuso; and brothers Michael (Robin) Amuso, and Paul (Maureen) Amuso. Loving aunt to Matthew, Aaron, Patrick, Bradley, Nicholas, and Mary Clare. Maria is also survived by her Aunts Marguerite Rinaman and Judy Amuso, and many cousins.

Maria is a 1984 graduate of Peters Township High School, and The Sawyer School.

Maria loved her family and relished her role as the nexus of family communication. She enjoyed reading, baking, and all things Pittsburgh. Her direct and forthright nature entertained all who were lucky enough to know her, and made evident her loving and generous spirit.

Friend’s are welcome on Friday June 3, 2022 from 3 PM – 8 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care; 3287 Washington Road; McMurray, PA 15317. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John XXIII Parish(St. Benedict the Abbott Church), 120 Abington Drive, McMurray, PA 15317; June 4, 2022 at 9:30am. Followed by interment at Forest Lawn Gardens; 3739 Washington Road; McMurray, PA; 15317.
