I was so sorry to hear of Marlene’s death at Mass this morning. I believe that I first knew her through St Joan of Arc cheerleading. My daughter Kristin was a cheerleader and I think one of Marlene’s daughters was too. We occasionally saw each other at Mass but we always met on Easter Saturday at the food blessing. We would have our little catch-up on how our families were doing. I will miss seeing her there. I knew her to be a kind and lovely friend. My deepest condolences to her family. I am so sorry to have missed her funeral Mass. Had I known, I would have been there. I will keep her and her family in my prayers.

I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to Tom and the girls. The loss of a loved one is always so sad. Marlene was one of the sweetest individuals, with a beautiful smile and always a kind word. Although I have not seen Marlene in years, I still have wonderful memories of her. My prayers for your family during your difficult days.
