Mary Conte, age 81, of Washington passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 5, 2020.

Born on February 16, 1939 in Canonsburg, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Giovanna Bruno.
She was the beloved wife of Antonio Conte; loving mother of Frances (Kirk) Armstrong and Ronda (the late Richard) Tennis. Grandmother of 7, Adam Armstrong, Sarah Armstrong, David (Corrie) David, Rachel (Jeff) Proctor, Sergio Athanasso, Tony Tennis, and Talia Tennis; great grandmother of 11, Mason, Natalee, DJ, Eloriana, Seth, Gemma, Ryah-Grace, Amelia, Benjamin, Sophia, Emilee; great great grandmother of Nikolaus; sister of Rose (The late Rolando) Conte, Eileen (the late Sebastian) Trovato, Gloria (Alfred)Contumelio And John (Eva) Bruno; also survived by nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, and gardening. She had a generous heart. She was the most happy when she was helping others and donating to many charitable organizations.  She was a longtime and avid member of St. Patricks Church, Canonsburg.

Family and friends are welcome Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 6-8 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 10 am at St. Patrick’s, 317 W. Pike St., Canonsburg, PA 15317 . EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ALS Association, 416 Lincoln Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15209, www.cure4als.org.

RIP MARY To your family so sorry for your loss Mary and I went to school together and were great friends I move to Florida about sixty years ago But when I was up there 2017 we went out to lunch together with Carol De Marino and her sister Eileen so glad to have had that time together

Sorry to hear of Mary's passing. Sympathy to all the family. I knew Mary for many years I worked with her at Canonsburg Hospital very nice gentle but strong women. I got a nut log receipt from her years ago which is delicious!
