Mary Louise (Mary Lou) DiBartola

Peacefully on Friday December 15, 2023. Born December 27, 1932, and raised in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh, she met her loving husband Wayne while attending Baldwin High School and was married for 68 years until Wayne passed.  A loving mother and homemaker, she loved making Italian foods and sharing those recipes with the family.  Mary Lou’s greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. She never missed a sporting/cheerleading event for her children or grandchildren. Her most loved vacation spot was Maui, Hawaii where she and Wayne visited annually for many years. She loved It so much that she had a license plate that read Maui Lu. Beloved mother of Leesa, Wayne Jr. (Gloria), Rene’ (Todd) Sherwin; devoted grandmother of Ashley, Amanda, Danielle, Wayne III, Santino; Step grandmother of Jarret, Dillon, Jhana (Robbie) Zewe and son Monroe. Sister of William Niro and the late Joseph and Raymond Niro.

There will be a brief visitation Friday December 22,2023 from 9:00-10:00AM at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30AM at St. John XXIII Parish, St. Benedict the Abbot Church, 120 Abington Dr, McMurray, PA 15317.

Private interment will be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
