Peter Barry Bidzila was my cousin, the oldest one, the first of 12 cousins, as far as i can figure, and the first one of us to pass. They used to call him Petey when he was young, prob because his Dad was Pete..our Uncle Pete was his own man, as was Peter Barry. Both men were honest, direct, and a little outspoken, but then, we were not confused about how they felt about a particular subject. We knew how they felt and that seems like a rarer quality these days. But Peter Barry was a good man and an honorable one. Since there are not too many comments as of yet, I want to digress a bit and tell a little story. Today a longterm friend of mine, strangely enough also named Peter called me about a work thing. My friend is Greek and Arabic, attends an Eastern Right Christian Church, and is from Nazereth, Israel. His growing up in Nazereth he described as a small town and seemed like a very down to earth place. But once after a trip home to see his family, he brought me a little carved and decorated round wooden plate with a photo of his home town, Nazereth, in the center. As many know it was the home town of Jesus, too. As I examined the photo, it suddenly occurred to me that Nazereth looked exactly like Monongehela, or Donora, where many of my cousins grew up. And maybe, if you could see the picture, you could imagine a humble and plain town, where most people are very plain and humble, and yet a Savior walked among us. May God bless all family and friends of Peter Barry Bidzila, especially at this Christmas time.

I am very saddened today to find out that Peter has passed. Besides a few choice friends and family, my relationship with Jerri and Peter is one on the longest associations in my life. Beginning in 1978 as a young teenager with a few cavities, for over 45 years Jerri and Peter have provided me the best in dentistry, he is a true artist in his field. I am thankful for all the knowledge and wisdom he shared throughout the many decades. Martin
