Mary Grace Porter

On February 27, 2019, MaryGrace Porter went to Heaven surrounded by family and friends at the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital, near her home in Okatie, South Carolina. MaryGrace Porter was born in 1944 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After school, she worked as an Administrative Assistant in the city and later after children returned to a similar position for many years. After marriage, and joining Holy Trinity Church, MaryGrace became a dedicated Eucharist Minister. She administered the Holy Sacrament to the sick for decades. MaryGrace loved reading, traveling, playing games, and being with her friends and family to laugh and tell stories. She especially loved being with her grandchildren. MaryGrace is survived by her husband for over 52 years, Dennis Porter and their two sons, Michael and Sean, her beloved daughters-in-law, Lisa and Kimberly and grandchildren: Sarafina, Sophia & Van and Julian. Her sisters, Jeanie Vivirito and Geraldine Marloff and their husbands, four nieces and a nephew as well as countless other family and friends will deeply miss and fondly cherish their memories of her. She was a beautiful gift from God, a kind soul and will be remembered this way.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday, March 4, 2018 from 1-3pm and 6-8pm at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike Robinson Twp, PA 15136. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2018 at 10am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 5718 Steubenville Pike Robinson Twp, PA 15136. A wake will follow at Olivia’s Banquet Hall in Kennedy Twp.
