Mildred M. Dhanse

Our dear mother, Mildred M. Dhanse “Marlene Charlier”, 87, sadly passed away on August 5, 2023 at St. Clair Hospital. Born on August 17, 1935 to the late William Dhanse and Mildred (Thornburg) Dhanse McClain.

She is survived by her three children; Dale, Sherry, and David; sister Alice Geisler; preceded in death by her two brothers, Raymond and William “Billy” Dhanse.

She was a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren, Daryl, Lindsey, Kristin, Derek, Kara, Justin, and Joshua; as well as 10 great-grandchildren. If she was not outdoors, working in her yard, you could find her spending time with her family or helping others. A special thanks to the staff at St. Clair Hospital for their compassionate care for our mother. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorial contributions be made to Midway Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department. We are very grateful for those volunteers. We will forever carry our mother’s memory in our hearts.

No service is scheduled at this time. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Private arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.
