Nicholas Paul Palashoff, age 76 of Brookline, PA formerly of Beechview, PA passed away on October 10, 2022. Born on July 13, 1946, he was the son of the late Nick and Anna Palashoff. Beloved husband of Patricia Palashoff for 52 years. Loving father of Michelle (Palashoff) Niemiec and Nicholas (Jennifer) Palashoff II. Cherished grandfather of Nicole Niemiec, Nicholas Palashoff III, Paige Palashoff, Peyton Dorsch, and Piper Palashoff. Loving brother of Robert (Luke) Palashoff. He is proceeded in death by is siblings JoAnne Homa, Patsy Argotti and William Palashoff. Nick was survived by several nieces and nephews.
Nick was unselfishly devoted to his family. He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. Nick spent his life working hard to ensure his family could have a better life. He believed in hard work and worked tirelessly as a laborer hanging dry wall, which became his passion. He loved nature, the country and being in the woods, and he specifically enjoyed planting and watching his geraniums and Japanese maple tree grow. Nick loved playing games such as cards, checkers, bingo and chess. He loved helping others which he would do before his own needs. Most importantly, he took tremendous pride in his family and watching them grow gave him his greatest joy.
Family and friends are welcome on Thursday, October 13, 2022 from 2 PM to 6 PM at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, (724) 260-5546. A blessing service will be held at 6 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you plant a Japanese Maple Tree in Nick’s memory.
