Opal V. (Dittman) Schotting, age 91 of Lawrence, PA passed away on August 1st, 2018. She was born on February 5, 1927.
Beloved mother of 5 children, Judy (the late John) Rikoric of Lawrence, PA, Wanda (the late Don) Rura of Lawrence, PA, Wayne (Janice) Schotting of New Berm, NC, Robin (Steven) Lelak of Lawrence, PA, and Ronna (Francis) Rosmon of Indian Trail, NC. She was also loved by 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Opal was an avid gardner, loved canning, cooking, baking, and country music. Many thanks to all of the hospice workers for all their countless hours of helping take care of our mom.
Friends and family are welcome on August 6, 2018 from 10-12pm with a service at 12pm at Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.
