Patricia G. Wass, age 87, of Washington, PA went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 6, 2023, surrounded by her family.
Born on January 13, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Lena G. Murray Hull and Clair W. Hull.

She was the beloved wife of Boyd Wayne Wass for 67 years, whom she married on June 16, 1956; loving mother of Pamela (Carl) Bruckner, Leigh Ann Laabs (Roger Kemp), Amy (Kirk) Phillips and Boyd (Dina) Wass Jr.; adored grandmother of Steven (Jordan), Ryan (Amy) and Seth (Ashley) Bruckner, Austin (Samantha) Phillips, Dawson (Sara) Laabs, Graydon, Garrett and Gunner Wass; great grandmother of 12; and dear sister of Vickie Lentz, Philip Hull, and Danny Hull.

Patricia graduated from Harrisville High School (WV) in 1954, later graduating from the Ohio Valley School of Nursing in 1956. She started her career at The Washington Hospital in the OB Department, and after 43 years of service, she retired in 1999 from Canonsburg Hospital.

She was a devout member of The Abundant Life Baptist Church formerly Allison Ave. She spent many years teaching Sunday School and Release Time. She enjoyed baking, reading, dart ball and Bible study. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She loved the Lord and brought many people to Christ.

Friends and family will be received September 23, 2023 from 10 am until the time of a memorial service at 11 am at Abundant Life Baptist Church, 269 Cameron Rd., Washington, PA 15301.

Sorry to hear about aunt Pat. I will miss her very much. I will always remember her encouraging words and support when mom was sick back in 2007. What a great influence she was to me and my family. I praise God for her life and knowing that she is in HIS presence..

I will truly miss Pat and talking old nurse war stories with her and seeing her and Wayne in church. I will miss her physical presence but I will see her again when it is my turn to see Jesus face to face! Condolences to all her loved ones!
