Robert W. Ions, Jr., age 80, of Pittsburgh, formerly of McKees Rocks, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. Son of the late Elizabeth and Robert W. Ions, Sr. and brother of Mary Ann DiMeo. Family and friends welcome on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care 5405 Steubenville Pike Robinson Township, PA 15136. Please gather at church on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 for a 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial at Archangel Gabriel Parish (Holy Trinity Church) 5718 Steubenville Pike Robinson Township. Private interment in Calvary Cemetery.

Bob Ions has been a part of our family ever since I can remember. He was my late sister's godfather and a dear friend of my fathers since their elementary school days and days as alter boys. What I will always remember is that he was there for everything of importance with our family and would help anyone if he could. God bless you always.
