Ronald E. Bell

Ronald E. Bell age 77 of Washington formerly of Traverse City, MI passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 26, 2017.

Born on November 27, 1939 in Waynesburg, PA, he was the son of the late Jim Bell and Mary Hunter.

Beloved husband of Ilona R. Bell; loving father of Shelia M Philips of Spraggs, PA, Rhonda L. Kephardt of Mill Hall, PA, Tom D. Atkinson of Grawn, MI, and Nadine A. Atkinson of Las Vegas, NV;  cherished grandfather of Rachel, Jeffrey, Jason, Justin, Eric, Brandon, Jacob, Julie, Emily, Skylar, and Cash and numerous great grandchildren; dear brother of James W. (Doris) Bell of Pike Road, Alabama, Mary Ann (Paul) Bixler of Smithfield, PA and the late Barbara Ann Bell; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Ronald enjoyed reading and gardening.  He loved teaching bible classes as well as preaching at numerous churches and praising our Lord Jesus Christ as well as being a Stephen Minister.  Above all he was a fisher of men.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Trinity Bible Fellowship, 1350 Park Ave., Washington, PA 15301.   Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Bible Fellowship Church, American Cancer Society or Washington Humane Society.
