Samuel L. Angelo

July 29, 1965 – January 25, 2023

Age 57, on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, of Baldwin Borough

Husband of Alisa Spector Angelo; stepfather of Hannah Collins, Rachel Collins, and Jake Collins; grandfather of Joaquin; son to Judy and the late Lou of Pittsburgh, PA, brother of Laura (Keith) Beetler of OH, Karen (Jason) Post of OR, and Lou (Whitney) Angelo of McMurray, PA. Also survived by nieces and nephews, family, and friends.

Above all else, Sam loved Alisa and her children. They thoroughly enjoyed each other’s company and spending time with their friends and family. Sam was among the proudest of parents, always sharing the achievements of Hannah, Rachel, and Jake.

Sam was first married, loved and supported the late Tracy Angelo who fought a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. They were married for 16 years.

Sam was a founding partner at Bethany Hospice & Palliative Care, and Sam served as the Vice President and Director of Business Development for the last eighteen years. He was known throughout the local healthcare community as a person passionate about end-of-life care. Before serving at Bethany Hospice, Sam worked with his father selling home remodeling services for Angelo Associates Inc.

Sam was loved by all who knew him. His fun loving personality was contagious and his kind and caring heart was felt by family, friends, and clients. His sense of humor and smile brought comfort and happiness, and his dedication and willingness to listen made Sam appreciated and loved by all who knew him.

A private memorial service was held for Sam on January 31, 2023. The family suggests contributions to Bethany Hospice Memorial Fund, 875 Greentree Road Building 6, Suite 100, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 or A.R.C. Indiana, 120 N. Fifth Street, #1, Indiana, PA 15701, www.arcindiana.org.
