Precious Starlet, This sudden loss of the genuine love of your life must seem bottomless, surreal, unimaginable. I still remember the joy in your face, your whole countenance, when you and Scott would come back to visit NCS together years ago. I also saw a settled, restful peace in him when he was with you. What a precious match made in Heaven. I still remember Scott leading the students (my daughters) in NCS chapel when they were little, and how we'd come home singing those Spirit-infused songs and worshipping the Lord for days afterwards. His love for the Lord was contagious. May the Lord wrap you up in His Arms and hold you close during this extraordinarily difficult time. We will pray for you. Much love to you, sweet Starlet. ~Anne Buzzy

Dear Statlet, My family grieves with you and yours for your loss. Your husband was much loved as teacher to our daughters (Amalia and Sophia) for numerous courses at Veritas. It's hard to overstate his impact in their lives. May the Lord give you strength for the days ahead. In Christ, The Helmkamp Family

To the Baker family: My family and I were shocked and greatly saddened by the news of Scott’s passing. We were next door neighbors to the Baker’s for many years and I have wonderful memories of being in a blessed neighborhood with so many special people. Godspeed Scott. The Matson family is holding all of you in our prayers and hearts. In Christ’s Love, Julie (Matson) Warner
