Terrance “Terry” Wright

Terrance “Terry” Wright age 89 of Washington passed away peacefully with his family by his side on April 2, 2024.

He was born in Washington, PA on November 10, 1934 to the late Adeline and Norton Wright Sr.

Terry is survived by the love of his life Saundra “Sandy” Dickinson and children Gary Gregg (Lisa), Robin (Troy) McDougal, and Darla McClain. Terry was the cherished  Pap to Madi Gregg, Jacob Gregg, Colton Craig, Joshua Martin,  Travis Martin, and Kody Martin, loving brother-in-law to Janet Smith, Jackie Guidas, and Tom Fawcett, dear uncle to Billie Wright, Terry Wright , Jackie Koneski, and Amor Andy.  Terry was also blessed with an extended family and close friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his brother Norton “Jake” (Ruby Elaine) Wright.

Terry retired after a long career with Jessop Steel.  He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to spend time outside riding quads, playing horseshoes, or just walking in the woods. Terry was a simple man except when it came to his love of Harley motorcycles and nice  cars, he was also a legendary member of the Arden Club, The Elks, and The American Legion.   However most importantly Terry loved Sandy with all his heart and truly cherished the family she gave him. Terry will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends and Family will be received on Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 1 to 6 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317.  A blessing service with full military honors will take place on Monday April 8, 2024, at 11 am.  Burial will be private at Washington Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Washington Animal Humane Society Donation
