Violet Ruth Azman

Violet Ruth Azman, nee Sifinski, born on June 23, 1939 in Canonsburg Hospital, passed away on October 11, 2023. She was the wife of Robert Azman, formerly of Meadowlands. They resided in Washington, PA.

Surviving Violet are her children, Stacey Snyder (Marvin) of Mount Pleasant, PA; Shelley Conroy (Thomas) of Scenery Hill, PA; and Jaison Azman (Amanda) of Pittsburgh, PA.  Grandchildren are Amanda Andredas (Craig), Zachary Snyder (Kayla), Jeremy Conroy (Michala), Andrew Snyder (Sammantha), Marshall Azman, and Raegan Azman.  Great-grandchildren are Karson and Hadley Snyder, Carinna and Caleb Andredas, Syrus, Aysa, Symara, Cylais, and Xyleena Snyder.  A brother, Jack, passed away in infancy. Violet is also survived by several cousins, including Shirley Pratten and Ed Sifinski.  Anna Mae Jennings, Carole Burrows, and Daralyn Campbell were lifelong friends.

Violet graduated from Canonsburg High School in the Class of 1957 and was active in the Student Council and served as president.  She enjoyed playing cards and bowling and also enjoyed doing word puzzles.  She was active in Democrat politics for many years. Violet spent most of her working years in the Credit and Collections field.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Pittsburgh Cremation, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA on Monday, October 16 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm at the funeral home.
