William C. McKee

William “Bill/Sonny” C. McKee, Age 91, surrounded by loved ones, quietly passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, after a courageous battle with Covid. He was preceded in death by his parents James & Elizabeth McKee; sisters Dolores Schneider and Mary (Fritzi) Pasqua.  Bill is survived by his beautiful wife, Patricia of 61 years; daughters Denise (Ron) Hrubes and Renée (Harry) Rock II; grandchildren Samantha, Ben, Sarah & Kayla.  Bill worked as a foreman at J & L Steel and Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He was a proud veteran of the Korean War.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, fishing, hunting, watching the Steelers, and talking about memories throughout his years.  Bill was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and uncle who had a heart of gold.  He instilled the values of hard work, commitment, and love of family, which will be carried on by his loved ones in his memory.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and treasured him. Private family viewing entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.
