My Mother, My Friend.

Terry Lynn Camardese (Giebel) left this life on earth to be in heaven with her true Father. She was born on October 14, 1960 in Charleston, South Carolina and passed with her family by her side on April 8, 2019 at 12:20am at home. Terry’s strength was remarkable over the course of her life as she worked and raised three children. She was influential in countless lives and a living testament of grace. Her strength was even more apparent over the past four years as she solely researched and learned every medical and alternate treatment for her disease. She was brilliant. On her various overseas trips for treatment she was a light and comfort for those around her. Anyone who had the opportunity to know her would also know she was full of love.

We rejoice that Terry is now free from life’s struggles and we are heartbroken as we miss her companionship, her radiant personality, her subtle innuendos, her resourceful guidance, her exceptional joy, her endless forgiveness and support, and the list goes on. Terry was survived by her husband John Camardese, mother Sally Giebel, father Joe Giebel (Debbie Hughes), her children Neil Camardese, Kadi Parrott (Andrew), and James Camardese, sister Shirley Skidmore (Steve), brother Joel Giebel (LeeAnne), and grandchildren Levi and Andrew Jacob.

A graveside service will be held for family and friends that were near to Terry’s heart on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Resurrection Cemetery at 9:30am (100 Resurrection Road, Coraopolis, PA 15108) followed by a Memorial Service at St. Stephens Church at 10:30am (405 Frederick Avenue, Sewickley, PA 15143). Following the service there will be a lunch during which those who would like to will have the opportunity to share briefly something about how Terry touched their life. Since Terry found great joy in sitting in the sun and the outdoors, in lieu of cut flowers, donations may be made to a memorial fund which will be used for a picnic table in Robin Hill Park. Anything received in excess of the cost of that picnic table will be given to Women in Christian Ministries (WICM), an outreach ministry in Coraopolis which equips and empowers women facing crises to make needed positive changes in their lives. Checks can be made payable to Kadi Parrott (9926 East Moccasin Trail, Wexford, PA 15090).

The good news is that we believers will see her again in Heaven......thank the Lord for this comfort. We are very sorry that we did not attend her memorial service which was due to our recent learning of Terry’s demise on April 25th.
