Andrea (Andy) Murrey Sypherd

On Friday, July 28, 2023, Andrea (Andy) Murrey Sypherd, loving mom, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend passed away at the age of 55 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Andy was born on March 23,1968 in Parkersburg, WV to the late Jerry and Rebecca (West) Murrey. Andy graduated from Upper St. Clair High School in 1986 and attended college at CCAC and West Virginia University before beginning her professional career in sales with Automart. A few years later, Andy accepted a sales position at Chemsearch with NCH. Within a short period of time, she achieved and consistently exceeded her sales goals and won several awards. Andy was eventually promoted to the Certified branch of NCH where she continued to excel for the remainder of her career. Through a steadfast commitment to her job and customers, Andy made countless friends with coworkers and clients.

Although Andy took great pride in her professional achievements, her single proudest accomplishment was having and raising her only daughter, Madison (Sypherd) Davidson.

Andy was known and dearly loved for her kindness, honesty and humor. She was a beautiful and confident women with an unforgettable laugh, stylish Moxie Cloth outfits and a heart of gold. Her unwavering love for God, family, friends and her dogs filled her life and those around her with joy.

Andy was preceded in death by her grandparents Delbert & Lucille Murrey, Howard & Ruth West and her parents Jerry & Rebecca Murrey. She is survived by her daughter Madison Davidson & husband Austin. Her sister Deb Dudley & husband Jim and her nieces Sydney Dudley & Paige Dudley. Her Aunt and Uncle Howard & Elizabeth West and cousins Tamela Corwin & Melissa Sundin and their families. Her best friend and bonus sister for almost 40 years Patty Bodner & husband John.
