Susan E. Whirlow, age 77, of Washington, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2023 with family by her side, listening to “Blueberry Hill,” the song her and her husband danced to on their first date.

Susan loved reading, traveling and talking on the phone.  She was a Steeler fan and made her chocolate candy. She was an avid card club member with friends where she would play Hand and Foot among other games. One of her favorite past times, was  being a band parent for both of her children. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A great cousin! Loved her! I loved the fact you knew exactly what she thought, a lot like her father, who was my Uncle Bob. I will miss her with dearly and deeply held memories. Blessings to her family and friends.

Stacey, John and families. Our sincere condolences on your loss. Remembering all the fun we had chaperoning the band and at the football games, making Hoagies on Saturday mornings for our big Hoagie sale. Keep her memories close to your heart and she will always be with you. The Dankowsky family
