Bobbie Yingling, age 94, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully after a short illness on September 28, 2023.
Born on November 7, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Esther and Robert Brown.
She was the beloved wife of 58 years to Denver Yingling; loving mother of Leslie (Scott) Bennett and the late Scott Yingling; adored grandmother of Joseph and Henry Bennett; and dear aunt of Ginny (Mike Bares) Yingling and Richard (Debbie) Yingling.

Bobbie loved Christmas, she had a Christmas collection like none other. She would hand paint eggs and make them in to ornaments. She was a Sorority Sister with the Tri Delta Sorority, she even attended last year’s ornament exchange with her sisters. Bobbie was an active volunteer throughout the years with PT library and later at the Friendship Village Library.

While raising her family, they enjoyed traveling the U.S. in with their travel trailer. When Denver retired, they enjoyed time abroad visiting the U.K. and Italy. She was an avid game player, including Bridge, Cribbage, and Dominos.  She loved reading, in fact she was known to read a book in a day.  Bobbie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

All services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Peters Township Library or the Friendship Village of the South Hills- Team Member Appreciation Fund.
