Dearest Aunt Frannie... My mother (your sister Julie) loved her little sister dearly and would do anything for you whether it was an ear to listen to your adventures from DC or to help you in other ways as her empathetic heart was always flowing over for you. You are with her now in heaven and It is comforting to know as she definitely has clout up there, that you are by her side exactly where you both yearned to be one day. Your laugh made me laugh and your faith was always inspiring. Your were an unforgettable woman and will be remembered lovingly always!

Aunt Fran I have fond memories of you visiting from DC and sitting at my Mom’s table until the wee hours of the morning listening to all of your stories about work and friends, al of your travel destinations and just life in general. I will always remember walking the Ateip District with you early on Saturday mornings to buy fresh bread, soppressata and cheese. We would only bring half of what we bought home with us. We couldn’t resist nibbling as we walked. You were a wonderful role model for all of us and you will be greatly missed. I have no doubt that your contagious laugh has got the attention of a few angels; and I’m sure our family has greeted you at the gates of Heaven with open arms, a toast of homemade Italian Red and a dance or two. Love you always

For My Friend, Frannie and I met some 30 years ago at a meeting of Avanti, two single women in love with life. She had a gift for planning and organizing affordable, short distant driving trips that were so much fun. I will always be grateful for her friendship in good times and bad. Fall was her favorite time of year and one thing she always did was to go apple picking. I still have a little basket that she brought me with apples in it, of course. Now, and all these years later, I have treasured that little basket and keep it in my pantry where it stores my potatoes. She added love and laughter to many of my family Thanksgiving dinners. Thank you, Frannie for being you. Rest now, perfect, whole and happy.
