James “Jim” Henry Deyak

James “Jim” Henry Deyak, age 88, of Robinson Township went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 9, 2023. Husband of Kathleen (Kolence) Deyak and father of Deborah (Kris) Celedonia, Douglas (April) Deyak, and the late Daryl Deyak. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Frances (Arch) Deyak, as well as his siblings Frank Deyak, Marian Drexler, Alice Gardner, John Deyak, and Helen Deyak. Uncle to Susan Duckstein, Jay Gardner, and the late Amy Drexler, Gregg Gardner, and Sally DiAngelo. Jim was a graduate of Robinson High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania (formerly Indiana State Teachers College).

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 4:00-8:00pm at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care 5405 Steubenville Pike Robinson Township, PA 15136. Private interment to be held at Resurrection Cemetery. If desired, memorials may be made to the Slovenian Radio Program c/o Sharon Ujcich 381 F Street, Pittsburgh PA 15209 or a charity of your choice.
