John M. Perkins

John M. Perkins, age 64, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from heart failure. Mr. Perkins was a long time resident of Bethel Park, PA, and an employee of Bombardier, Inc. Born Rocky Mount, NC, he grew up in Sharon, PA, and earned a BS from Carnegie-Mellon University, and an MS from the University of Pittsburgh in Electrical Engineering. He enjoyed travel, from visits to Europe to frequent visits to relatives in New Orleans, and Arizona and the American Southwest. An amateur guitarist, he enjoyed all kinds of music from classical to rock, jazz and blues. He participated in martial arts, and other fitness activities. John Perkins will be remembered for his kindness, intelligence and dry sense of humor. He is survived by his father, Robert C. Perkins, stepmother, Mary Robin-Perkins, and brothers Tim F. Perkins and Stephen F. Perkins, Arrangements entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, Robinson Township.
