Kay Bergmark, age 82, of McMurray, passed away on December 6, 2023.

Loving mother of Wendy Bergmark; cherished grandmother of Zoe and Rezon Sanchez; sister of Maxine “TuTu” Sutovich; and niece Laurie Sutovich.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Maxine Farnsworth of Monessen, PA; husband William Bergmark; Sister, Barbara Farnsworth; brother in law, Ronald Sutovich; and nephew Daniel Sutovich.

Kay was an avid lover of dogs and had many throughout her lifetime that she is anxious to reunite with.  She worked as a hair colorist for Jeffrey Allen Salon for many years where she developed lifelong friendships and a clientele who adored her.  Kay lit up a room with her smile, engaging blue eyes and had a warm personality that was inviting to all.

Although she is no longer with us, she will live on through each of us as we remember her through our favorite memories and stories.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 4-7 pm at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.  A memorial service will be held at 7 pm.

Aunt Kay not only welcomed you to her home anytime of day, she shared her kindness and love with everyone and we are all better people because of her. She made a point to share her time on special days. I attached a picture of she and I at my Duquesne University graduation in 1991. It was many years ago but it shows how time flies. So it exemplifies how we should 🎶 shower the people we love with love 🎶 - James Taylor So we have no regrets. She encouraged me to be my best self and taught me if you are what you should be you will set the world ablaze. - St. Catherine of Sienna So I will keep trying. Aunt Kay is not dead because she will live forever in our hearts and in our memories. My love and prayers to Wendy, Zoe, Rezan, Aunt TuTu and Laurie. Love, Michelle
