Kyriakos N. Sarafis

Kyriakos N. Sarafis, of East Pittsburgh, 77, died Sunday, July 9, 2023.  Kyriakos was born July 29, 1945.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Nikolaos and Sofia Serafim and his wife of 49 years, Lavon. Kyriakos is survived by his children, Nicholas (Megan) Sarafis, Kyriakos (Nicolle) Sarafis, Nathan (Holly) Sarafis, Kirk (Brittany) Sarafis, Neil Sarafis, Krystal Sarafis; his grandchildren, Alexis, Demetria, Dylan, Domenick, Riley, Sean, Peyton, Sophia and Alanzo; his brothers Manolis (Monica) Serafim and Emanuel, sisters; Despina, Rena, and Evagelia, residents of Greece, along with several nieces and nephews.  His birthplace was Hiraklion Crete Greece.  He served 2 years in the Greek Army.  He was a deep-sea fisherman, played soccer in Greece and continued playing in the U.S. for a minor team.  Kyriakos was an industrial painter throughout his life in the United States.  He worked on bridges, water towers and power plants.  He also worked on federal, commercial and residential buildings.  Kyriakos most loved spending time with his grandchildren.
