Patricia (Patti) Lynn Bird

Patricia (Patti) Lynn Bird, age 73, of Washington, PA passed away peacefully on July 11, 2023.

Born on March 5, 1950 in Washington, PA she is the daughter of the late Ziggy and Myrtle Presky.

Beloved mother of Tracy (Shawn) Haynos.

Loving Aunt of Kimberly Pinkerton, Hannah Pinkerton, Haelinn Pinkerton, and the late Ron Pinkerton.

Preceded in death by her siblings, Richard Presky, Bert Miles, and Helen Presky.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends,  and family.

Patti was an avid knitter, crocheter, loved to read, travel, and host friends and family at her home. She was seen by many in her life as “Mama Bird” and always had a laugh and a homemade pair of slippers to share with everyone. Patti loved to feed everyone, and her cooking was one of a kind. She was well known for her witty comments, sharing a boisterous relationship with her son in law Shawn, their banter could last for hours. Her daughter Tracy is forever grateful for all the sacrifices her mom made for her throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of life is set to be held at a later date, arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.
