Martha W. Flowers

Martha W. Flowers, age 77 of Venetia, PA, formerly of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2024.

She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on September 21, 1946, to the late Helen and Boyd Williamson.

Beloved wife of 50 years to William “Bill” Flowers, and loving fur mom to her and Bill’s 4 cats. Martha is also survived by her dear cousin Cindy Young.

Martha was a very accomplished EASL tutor, who loved to volunteer her time whether at the library or with MENSA. In the MENSA organization Marsha held the positions of Editor, Business Manager, and she judged scholarships. Martha and Bill were blessed to have their EASL student, Sophia, in their lives.

In Martha’s free time she enjoyed attending church, flower gardening and reading two or three books a week, but her most cherished time where her walks with Bill.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Guiding Eyes for the Blind.

Mass of Christian burial with take place on Friday February 9, 2024 at 10 am at St. John XXIII St. Benedict the Abott with burial to follow at Queen of Heaven. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, McMurray, PA 15317
