Robert “Bob” Anderson, age 71, of Jefferson Hills, PA, passed away on February 5, 2024.
Beloved husband of Jayne Rumick. Born on October 9, 1952, in Pittsburgh, PA, he is son of Catherine and the late Albert Anderson.
Loving father of Devra (Dennis) Stadler, and Brandy (Douglas) Leonberg; brother of Pamela Anderson and his “adopted” sister, Diane Stout. Grandfather of Joshua & Zachary, and Zackary & Brianna; great-grandfather of Sophie & Milo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Bob was a special man. There wasn’t much that could upset him when he was in his favorite spot, his recliner. He was a huge Star Trek fan, an avid movie watcher, a Civil War historian, and was big into his streaming services – specifically Apple TV. He enjoyed trains, as well as remote control cars, and even has some NASCAR memorabilia hung up throughout the house. He was very advanced when in came to technology, and loved all things photography and camera related. When he wasn’t in his recliner, he took great pleasure in shooting at the gun range, or traveling, specifically to the beach, the mountains, or camping. Above all else, Bob was a one-of-a-kind husband, father, brother, son, and friend.
His undeniable sarcasm and reserved nature will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Friends and Family are welcome on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8, at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136, with a blessing service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity in Bob’s name.
