Mary Ann Schrempp (nee Uhl) 82 of Mt. Lebanon, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2021 with family by her side. Mary Ann was born in Bethlehem PA, the daughter of the late Charles Uhl, Jr and Mary l. Uhl. She is preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Herbert Schrempp. She is survived by her brothers Chuck (MaryJane) Uhl and Jack (Ursula) Uhl, nephews Thomas (Linda) Uhl and John Uhl (fiancée Dana Sloboda), niece Kathleen Uhl, great-nephew Thomas Uhl and great-niece Elizabeth Uhl. Mary Ann was an excellent cook and card player, enjoying many happy occasions with family and friends, including those from Cochran Hall where she lived for the last eight years. Her twenty years working for the Pittsburgh Symphony as executive assistant to the SVP and COO brought her tremendous joy. She loved music and her symphony colleagues became lifelong friends. Mary Ann’s kind heart and vivacious personality will be missed by all. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Dr. Adam Brufsky, the nurses and staff of the Magee-Womens Breast Cancer Center, all of whom contributed to her living a very full and rich life.

Due to Covid restrictions, burial at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will be private. A celebration of her life will be held on a date to be determined. All arrangements are being entrusted to Pittsburgh Crematorium and Funeral Care, McMurray PA 15317.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary Ann’s name to the Magee-Womens Foundation Breast Cancer Research and Education Fund, or the Pittsburgh Symphony.
