Mary P. Richardson

Mary P. Richardson, age 93, of Allison Park, Mary passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. She was born September 29, 1929, daughter of the late Oscar and Ethel Pearson. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Richardson and grandson, Scott Turnbell. Left to cherish her memory are daughters Ann Hoffman and Barb (Tom) Steib, two grandchildren, Emily and John (Anne) Steib, and two great grandchildren Will and Alec Turnbell. Mary was a teacher for 35 years and taught at Hampton Township for more than 30 years. She was a longtime member of Parkwood United Presbyterian Church in Allison Park. Mary was an avid traveler. Her journeys took her to China, Russia, Australia, Hawaii, Europe, and many other countries. She ended her life’s journey at Sunrise of Upper St. Clair. She will be truly missed by her family, friends, and hundreds of former students. Her internment and memorial service were held privately with family and close friends.
