Nancy White Tressel Brown

Nancy White Tressel  Brown passed away June 23, 2021 at Friendship Village of South Hills.  Nancy was born September 9, 1935 in Potsdam, NY.  Nancy attended Mt. Lebanon High School and Hood College in Fredrick, MD.  Nancy later received her MBA from The University of Pittsburgh.   She started her career as a stockbroker in several regional brokerages, before joining Legg Mason.  Legg was taken over by Morgan Stanley where she became a Senior Vice President.  Nancy served on the boards of Hood College, Blue Cross of Western Pennsylvania, Blue Cross of Utah and St. Clair Memorial Hospital.  Nancy was a four time golf club Champion at St. Clair Country Club.  She was an excellent tennis player and paddle tennis player.  Nancy was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.  Nancy is survived by her husband of 64 years, Roger, by three children David M Brown (Bonnie), Carolyn M Brown and Barbara Brown Virany, five Grandchildren Derek Brown (Monica), Isaac Brown, Rachel Brown Andon (Matthew), Robert Virany and Walter Virany and two Great granddaughters Arianna and Olivia.  A Memorial Service will be held at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church 1066 Washington Rd, Mt. Lebanon, PA 15228 on Sunday at 1:30 PM.  In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to St. Clair Hospital Foundation.
