Thankful Rich'music at SSj. I remember on Christmas he was determined to participate in the Mass and did so beautifully. Now heaven is blessed with his presence. Condolences to family and friends.

We absolutely loved Rich! He was a wonderful addition to the SSJ family. We had many nice talks with him before mass and are deeply saddened by his passing. We're sure he's playing the organ for the angels ??

I am so sorry for your loss. I was in high school when Rich was at Holy Trinity. He produced such a beautiful sound out of the organ at HT. I always appreciated his key change on the final verse. His music was absolutely moving. May he Rest In Peace and bring his beautiful music to heaven!

So sorry to hear of the passing of Rich. We became friends in the late 1960's when we worked together in New Kensington. We then went our separate ways when we changed jobs. We would briefly see each other as our careers would bring us to similar locations. Then while he was music director at St. Simon & Jude, the Church purchased a new organ and I was to do the installation. During the installation we had several days to visit and catch up on almost 50 years of our lives. It was a most enjoyable time laughing and talking. I regret not enjoying his company during the years we didn't keep in touch. He was a most gifted organist able to play both classical and theater styles of music. He could always find the best sounds an organ had to offer. He will be missed.
