Steven Salopek, age 63, of Stowe Township, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 from complications of pneumonia (not COVID related). He is the son of the late Joseph and Anita (Torbich) Salopek. Steve is survived by his wife Barbara (Sacco-Cato) and their children, Josh (Jeanette) Cato, Erin (Jonathan) Sikorski and Justin (Janelle) Cato; 7 wonderful grandchildren (the loves of his life); brother Joe (Helene) Salopek; sister-in-law Joanne (the late “Bucky”) O’Rourke; also, nieces and nephews.

Steve’s life will be celebrated with a funeral service on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10:00 am at Church of the Nativity, 33 Alice Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15205. Everyone please meet at church and bring a mask. Memorial contributions in Steven’s name may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.
