Thomas Dougherty Jr., age 76, of Findley Township, PA passed away peacefully on Monday, Feb. 12, 2024 in the loving presence of his devoted wife and beloved children.
Born on May 19, 1947, to the late Thomas and Dorothy (McDonald) Dougherty Sr. Beloved husband to Shirley (Kolas) Dougherty for over 56 years. Cherished father of Darcie (Michael) Bewley, Shannon (Vincent) Treonze, and Trisha (Joseph) Maritato. Grandfather to Kelsey, Vincent, Sophia, Anthony, Joseph, and Dominic. Great-grandfather to Vivienne Lynn.
Brother to the late Eileen Dougherty and Catherine (Norbert) Myers. Surviving siblings are Joseph (Beverly) Dougherty, Richard Dougherty, Dorothy Serakowski (Mark Julian), Charles (Joyce) Dougherty, Margaret (the Late Robert) Buckholtz, Sharon (Wayne) Shipley. Any many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tom was a Route Foreman Supervisor for Port Authority. He loved spending time at his camp and sitting by the fire. Above all else, he was a loving proud husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved nothing more than spending time with his family.
Friends will be received on Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 2:00-8:00 at Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care 5405 Steubenville Pike, Robinson Township, PA 15136. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Columbkille Church in Imperial on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 10:00am. Final resting place at St. Columbkille Cemetery in Imperial PA.
