Gene was a wonderful uncle. Losing somebody's so loved is never easy. He was very kind and generous to our family. We will always be deeply grateful. Gene had a contagious smile and a chuckle. I admired him for his professional achievements but most of all for the close relationships he held with his family. This Love impacted my life and those around him. His life Tells A Tale of Adventure, accomplishments, love and laughter. He will be missed and remembered by many.

My heart was broken to see Gene's obituary in the PG yesterday. Sincerest condolences to his family, most especially to Gene's brother Bill. Hope he doesn't take offense if I refer to him as Billy: having lost my brother Bob to heart disease several years ago, I know how much sadness comes with the loss of a brother who was also a playmate in partner in boyhood shenanigans. Sodas in the Musials' game room after baseball or football down in the 'field' (whatever were we thinking, using fire to clear the ballfield like a bunch of little indians?!) are a treasured memory. My very best wishes to the entire Musial family.

Definitely one of the good guys.....great memories of playing golf, having a few beers with my neighbor, and Indian Princesses for sure. RIP Geno!

I was blessed to have been a voyage mate of Geno’s on numerous adventures in the Bahamas and one memorable 23 cruise from Ft. Lauderdale through the Panama Canal aboard our mutual friend, Wayne Williams yacht, Rendezvous! His ability to remember every word of every Jimmy Buffett ballad was remarkable. You will be missed my friend. Til we cruise again, Brownie
