Irene M. Gordon

Irene Mildred Gordon, age 73, of Collier Township, PA, formerly of McKees Rocks, PA, passed away unexpectedly on November 3, 2023. Born on June 3, 1950, she was the daughter of the late WWII Marine veteran, Sydney C. Gordon and Irene Gordon.

Loving mother of Laura Lynn Mullen and Ryan Henry Mullen. Cherished sister to Cydney Gordon. “Mommy’s mommy” to Taylor Victoria Bell and Brooke Mullen Schreiber. Also survived by many neices, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, Henry J. Mullen.

Irene was passionate about music and loved to play her piano. In her earlier years, she enjoyed skiing, world travel, dancing, and being a dog owner. She was featured as a Poconos Resort model, which she took great pride in. Her family describes her as someone who knew how to make everything fun with her quick wit and sharp sense of humor. Irene was very family oriented and loved to be a mom and a grandma. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

At Irene’s request, services will be private. Final arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care.
