Michael Joseph Pauline

Michael (Mike) Joseph Pauline, age 75, of Castle Shannon, PA passed away peacefully on February 9, 2024.
Beloved husband of Mary Ann Pauline.
Born on February 13, 1948, in Van Meter, PA. He is the son of the late Mike and Mary Smuzinick Pauline. Brother of Joyce (Jim) Coughanour. Mike was preceded in death by his siblings Betty (Stanley) Slomiany and James (Geraldine) Pauline. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mike served in the Navy and Naval Reserves. He was employed by U.S. Steel and retired with over 30 years of service.

Mike was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins. He also enjoyed reading and traveling when time allowed. Mike loved to gamble, spending time at the Meadows, and buying lottery tickets. He hit the real jackpot when he married Mary Ann, 46 years ago, and created a beautiful life for themselves with their dogs, Shilo and Shadow, and cat Smokey. His kind heart and witty sense of humor will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.

Mike will be buried with military honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.
