Sarah Anne Soff, age 19, of Peters Township, Pennsylvania was called home by Our Father as a result of a car accident on Saturday, November 18, 2017.  Sarah was a 2017 graduate of Peters Township High School and was a freshman in the Nursing program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she was pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse and eventually a Pediatric Oncologist.

Sarah had a soul that knew no bounds, and the love she had was endless.  Sarah loved traveling, learning, working, picking sunflowers, watching sunsets and most of all spending time with her family and friends.  Her love for them was everlasting.  Sarah had a contagious smile, and always lived life to the fullest.  She touched the hearts of every person she met and was always committed to helping people in any way she could.  Even in death she continues to take care of others via the CORE organ donation program, through which she helped save the lives of several people on the transplant list.

Sarah is survived by her loving family, parents Steve and Georgia; siblings Christina, Michael, and Ava; grandparents Tom and Aggie Ritchey, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  She is also survived by her “Janis Drive neighborhood family” and her “work families” at Simmons Farm and at Justice, and by her many circles of friends.

A memorial mass will be held Friday, December 29, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Benedict the Abbot Catholic Church, 120 Abington Dr., McMurray, PA 15317.

Georgia: You and I had the pleasure of making our Emmaus together in the Spring. And I also had the pleasure of seeing you at the women's Emmaus at St Paul of the Cross this fall. My heart aches for the loss of your dear Sarah. Though I did not know her personally, her obituary speaks of a beautiful angel who touched the lives of so many people in such a wonderful way. May God give you and your family strength and wisdom during your days of grieving and heartache.

Trust in the lord and he will never leave you nor forsake you. Even in your times you feel as if you're stranded and deserted, God will never leave you. Pray and be still and I pray he will comfort you and your family in this time of pain. I feel for you and your entire family. This genuinely did hurt my heart and I am an IUP student, sophomore who didnt personally know her but I know she is smiling down on your family. God bless your hearts.

My love and condolences to the family of Sarah. Sarah meant the world to me, we went days and months without talking but we would always bounce back to where we left off. She was the kind of friend to always put a smile on your face. I was so proud of her when she told me she wanted to be a Pediatric Oncologist. She will always inspire me. She was taken so soon, in my heart I knew she was going to change the world one day. If it wasn’t through music and Kalin and Myles, we would of never met. I’m truly grateful I knew a person like her. Forever in my heart with love Sarah. I’ll see you soon someday, FLY HIGH MY LOVE. ????????

Georgia and dear family... Words cannot express my heartfelt condolences to you. When I heard, I thought how could God take such a beautiful soul like Sarah.. but God needs angels and he has a beautiful one now with your precious Sarah. I will always remember her beautiful smile and always shining personality from the days of SJA and then again at Peters. May you find comfort in all of the wonderful memories of her and know that she lives on in those she helped through organ donation. What a wonderful gift she gave to so many. I heard one of my favorite hymns today and thought of Sarah... “.. And he will raise you up on Eagle’s wings, bear you on the breath of dawn... make you to shine like the sun, And hold you in the palm of His hand... “ God bless you Soff family.. Sarah is shining like the sun with our Lord. Love, The Luppe Family Michele, Tracy, Ryan & Lauren
